The Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to support our Lakeland, FL (Knights Station, Retail) facility. As the Inventory Control Supervisor, you will handle projects and execute job assignments and requirements provided by the Production Control Manager. Supervisor manages and directs support team in entering data and all required information accurately into the Acumatica and Bay View systems to ensure accuracy. Escalates issues or discrepancies to the Production Control Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Enters all pricing and inventory information into Acumatica and Bay View Systems.
  • Oversees and directs support team in accuracy in production orders, sales orders, etc. ensuring all the details are entered into the appropriate systems.
  • Provides inventory and finished goods reports monthly on all projects to the Inventory/Accounting (TRG) team along with the Production Control Manager.
  • Oversees any inventory related issues on waste management, overruns, damages and any disposition of inventory related opportunities.
  • Oversees the accuracy of any information for a given project that is provided by the Project Manager or Sales Team. This would relate to the accuracy of the BOM or Sales Team information ensuring that this is being properly entered into the appropriate system.
  • Monitors the trouble shooting for production team regarding inventory shortages or discrepancies that are noted.
  • Monitors the reporting of all shipping and receiving detailed information related to inventory and ensuring of the accuracy of the reports being provided.
  • Oversees and monitors the creation of items within the system for any sales orders provided by Project Manager or Sales teams.
  • Participates and updates daily in Operations and Director-Fulfillment meeting providing any issues or opportunities related to inventory for a given project.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to add, to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to use tape measure; and to use a computer.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to use tape measure.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • High school diploma or GED; plus, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desirable.
