POSITION SUMMARY

The Replenishment Specialist is responsible for ensuring all warehouse products are being stocked at the highest desired level in which the WebstaurantStore requires. Candidate should be in constant communication with the manager on duty. He/she should have knowledge in product information, warehouse procedures, and other expectations assigned by the manager. The Replenishment Specialist should be able to identify and correct issues with items while addressing them with the appropriate channels. The Replenishment Specialist will hold themselves to the highest company standards and should be in good safety standing.

The Replenishment Specialist’s primary duties will require certification and successful use of several types of forklift equipment including, but not limited to reach trucks (stand-up and swing reach), sit-down forklift, order picker, and rider pallet jack. Aside from operating equipment, this position is required to fulfill any and all duties of an Inventory Control Specialist when deemed necessary by management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely utilize equipment to ensure all stock is in the appropriate location on a daily basis
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly
• Successfully work in a team environment to ensure daily expectations are met
• Effective cross-team communication within the warehouse
• Ensure that all items being stocked meet accuracy and quality expectations
• Inspect equipment on a daily basis before use to ensure safe operations
• Ensure serialized/consumable products are rotated according to FIFO
• Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety
• Mentoring new team members across the departments
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting with a sense of urgency
• Display great attention to detail while being able to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
• Must have regular and predictable onsite attendance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs
• Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures in the facility

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
