POSITION: Inventory Control Clerk Date of Last Revision: 11/08/21
This position reports to: Vice President
This position supervises: not applicable.
Basic tasks for this position include:
- Enter, update and receive purchase orders into receiving module.
- Hold receiving department accountable for closing scanned purchase orders.
- Coordinate between receiving and manufacturer any missed delivery appointments and facilitate rescheduling of delivery.
- Coordinate with manufacturer any and all partial purchase orders received.
- Match and verify invoice/freight bill with purchase order.
- Directly responsible for accurate monthly cigarette/tobacco inventory counts/recounts.
- Enter physical inventory adjustments into inventory module.
- Enter vendor orders into web order systems.
- Distribute and file reports and additional documents. Daily, weekly and monthly.
- Distribute faxes daily.
- Implement closing procedures on AS400. Daily, weekly and monthly.
- Order supplies. Paper, toner, ribbons and other items.
- Verify and invoice vendors for various monies. (Profit Connection fees, quarterly spoils/damages, trade show fees, rebates etc…)
- Issue pick-up slips for backhauls.
- Personal assistant to Vice President. (Emails as well as phone calls)
- Performing other duties as provided by the supervisor.
Knowledge of equipment required includes:
- Basic AS400 operational skills.
- Basic Access and Excel operational skills.
- Basic knowledge of IBM Network Printers.
- Keypunch skills.

- Interpersonal skills for dealing with customer/vendor telephone calls.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
