Description
This position is responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions between Epic and other systems. The Interface/Integration Specialist will be involved in the full life cycle of interface development including requirements gathering, build, test, go-live and production support. The Interface/Integration Specialist will be required to utilize strong technical skills and business understanding to solve issues related to the health system interface(s).
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (preferably in computer science or information technology) or equivalent / education / experience. Three to Five years of computer programmer/analyst experience working in healthcare. Training and Certification with various Integration Engines such as Lyniate (Corepoint), InterSystems, Rhapsody, Iguana or Mirth Connect are desired. Epic certification is preferred. Ability to relate well to all types of people and acts in a supportive and positive manner. Reacts in a controlled manner to unusual demands of customers. Reacts in a flexible manner under unusual circumstances. Demonstrates common sense and good judgment.
