Integrative Clinical Therapist - MILIEU

Location: Asheville, NC

Summary: The clinical therapist is a core member of our residents’ recovery team, by supporting the emotional and psychological growth and healing.

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 8 am –5 pm

Pay: Starting at $55,000 and based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide group psychotherapy for residents
• Assist the development and implementation of individualized Seven Domains Recovery plan, focusing on psychological, spiritual, relational, addiction, vocational, and familial challenges and growth opportunities
• Conduct assessment and have informal meetings with residents
• Strong collaboration with direct care staff to include recovery coordinators, psychiatry, nursing, community work and service, and residential staff
• Provide crisis support
• Complete timely documentation
• Offer training and informal guidance to staff members

Qualifications:

• Current NC license as LCSW, or LCMHC – Associate License considered with experience
• Great mentor position to gain therapy experience
• Masters, Psy.D or Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology or counseling
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychotherapy or other clinical services
• Experience with dual recovery, motivational interviewing, or DBT preferred
• Significant experience in working with adults coping with mental health challenges
• Superb analytical and reasoning skills
• Demonstrate good judgement and ethical practices
• Provide evidence-based interventions with an empathetic manner
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
