ActivePro Rehab Partners, a thriving and rapidly growing therapy platform for private therapy practices, currently has 42 locations in 13 counties in New Jersey. The Cranford NJ corporate office needs an Insurance Verification Specialist. Must be experienced in using various websites and portals to obtain and maintain insurance verification online, via telephone, or via fax.

Opportunities for advancement will be available for someone well-rounded and with experience in cash applications, insurance verification, authorizations, and/or patient and insurance collections. Excellent written and oral communication skills, exemplary interpersonal and time management skills, and problem-solving and analytical skills are key.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two years insurance verification experience preferred

A combination of education and experience will be considered

Experience with insurance verification

Experience using Raintree Systems, Inc. Practice Management Software is a plus

Experience using WebPT Billing is a plus

Job Requirements

· Ensure completion of the patient insurance verification process in a timely and accurate manner for new patients and changes in insurance for established patients

· Verify all insurance and patient demographics information and identify missing information needed to correctly determine insurance benefits, co-pay, co-insurance, deductibles, and eligibility, which includes documenting your findings

· Have a personable, friendly, and compassionate personality with the ability to work independently

· Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

· Team-oriented and flexible self-starter with excellent people skills

· Maintain compliant access and proficiency using insurance and related websites and portals

· Conduct self in accordance with the company’s employee manual, maintaining strictest confidentiality and discretion, and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

· Organized with the ability to effectively handle deadlines

· Ability to provide dependable, on-time attendance
