Job description
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Aviation and/or Commercial Team at Chappell, Smith & Associates in Franklin, TN. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to daily servicing of our clients, processing new and renewal business, remarketing, assisting clients in the claims process, developing relationships with clients and underwriters, etc. Applicant will be working with a designated Aviation or Commercial Insurance Advisor within our Aviation or Commercial Team. To be successful in this position, the applicant must have the following:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Positive attitude
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to organize, set, and maintain priorities
- Above average computer skills with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and internet browsers
- Above average math skills.
- Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Understand and analyze insurance coverage, forms, and policies.
- Basic knowledge/experience with an agency management system (Applied Systems).
- Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00.
- College Degree preferred
- Insurance, Aviation or Accounting experience beneficial, but not required.
