JOB DESCRIPTION:
Individuals serving as IOC/RIT Instructors (Shadow 200) are required to provide flight, simulation and academic instruction in support of the US Army's UAS Training Battalion located at Ft Huachuca, AZ. Duties and responsibilities include:

1. Develops; tests; maintains; and delivers moderately complex flight and simulations training programs.
2. Establishes and reviews course content as required.
3. Maintains records of training activities; participant progress; and flight information.
4. Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
5. May provide leadership and evaluation for other instructors, as assigned.
6. Stays current with new training; educational; and multimedia technologies.
7. Maintains current knowledge (currency) of all equipment and software utilized by our customer to provide training.
8. Participates in special projects within the scope of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), as required.
9. May be required to operate/instruct any of the customer's UAS platforms, based on customer's training throughput (surge)
10. Train personnel in the skills necessary to be an effective Unit Instructor Operator for Shadow 200

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. System qualification in either Shadow 200 TUAS version 2 (V2) or system qualification in Gray Eagle MQ-1C UAS on the current software version.
2. Must have 24 Months within the last five years and a minimum of 700 collective Instructor Operator flight hours (Live flight / Simulator) of teaching POI for 2-13th Aviation Regiment on Shadow 200 and/or Gray Eagle UAS.
3. Contractors will meet all requirements as per AR 95-20, TC 3-04.11, and FAA-H-8083-9A Aviation Instructor's Handbook

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:
1. Prior TRADOC experience; IO hours in training environment preferred; multi-platform quals preferred
2. Prior deployment and operation of the platform applying to instruct Familiarity with ISO- certified Quality Management System
3. Current active US Secret Clearance

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work/military experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. System qualification in Shadow 200 TUAS version 2 (V2)
2. Must have at least 700 flight hours on the Shadow 200 UAS
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight physical per AR 95-20
4. Must be able to satisfactorily complete all evaluations to include TRADOC instructor evaluations per 2/13th Aviation Regiment SOPs, and oral academic evaluations, no-notice evaluations, Directorate of Evaluation and Standardization (DES), proficiency flight evaluations (PFEs), and Standardization Flight Evaluations (SFE) per AR 95-20.
5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
