Job description

Blueridge is looking for a Instructional/Graphical Designer to assist in the development of e-learning web-based courses. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

Responsibilities

Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances knowledge retention and transfer

Work with programmers and graphic designers to create supporting material and media (e.g., audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)

Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs

State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

Design instructional graphics, content, and user interfaces

Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts

Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods

Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

Create software demonstrations to train the trainer

Maintain project documentation and course folders

Requirements

B.S / B.A - Preferred

5 years of experience working in instructional design and instructional technology

Lesson and curriculum planning skills

HTML5 and responsive web design experience

Solid knowledge of course development software and Learning Management Systems

Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts

Ability to pass a background check

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
