Inside/Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are looking for a result driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company’s products to drive sales. Sales res serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Selling Products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinated sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback
Asist in customer audits.
Store & control documents to ensure a strong organizational structure within the sales department
Write reports to document sales performance
Ensure customer requirements are satisfied.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.
Strong technical writing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good team player who can perform efficiently with minimal supervision.
Skilled at conveying information effectively.
Skilled at prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
One-year experience working in inside/outside sales
Experience working in the furniture industry is a plus

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
