Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm

Qualifications:

• To maintain a safe work environment for all employees to work in with emphasis on minimizing injuries through improved housekeeping and safe work habits/procedures.
• Exhibit an exemplary sense of urgency and discipline in meeting the operational needs of Kentucky Trailer Manufacturing and Kentucky Trailer Paint location.
• Ensure quality workmanship as to instill pride in the departments work.
• Work in full compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, solves issues in timely manner
• Understand and demonstrate skills / knowledge as necessary: Plant and office electrical systems (3 phase), HVAC, water and sewer utilities, welding, fabrication, pneumatic equipment/tools, Lock Out Tag Out, and safety procedures.
• Must Collaborate closely with all Operations departments to ensure optimal uptime
• Ensures plant cleanliness – 5S, Painting, Tool storage, to optimize operational production
• Basic Computer aptitude
• Preform Preventive/Predictive strategies to minimize unplanned downtime
• Organize and maintain maintenance shop equipment
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Reporting Maintenance Activities, repairs, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance history of plant equipment

Requirements:

• Experience with 3 phase electrical distribution systems
• 3-5 years working in a similar role as a maintenance tech
• Completion of a vocational maintainence or electrical program
• Experience working with and troubleshooting control system to included PLCs and VFD Drives
• Excellent attendance and work record
• Strong analytic / Problem Solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
