Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

Job Responsibilities
- Zero Personal First Aid/Injuries-Participate in the Air Liquide Safety program-Comply with all ALA Policies including Responsible Care.
- Oversee instrumentation and/or electrical jobs with contractors and monitor contractor work quality.
- Actively participate in RCA's as required.
- Participate in the execution and job plan improvement of the facility's I&E PMs.
- Execute work orders, identify corrective maintenance activities and enter work orders into the maintenance management program.
- Identify I&E critical equipment and critical spare parts for the facility. Purchase and manage the spare part inventory for these items.
- Maintain test equipment calibration and associated records.
- Maintain equipment records in both the maintenance management program and written form.
- Maintain facility PID schematics-Assist Maintenance Coordinator in maintaining equipment manuals.
- Be familiar with Reliability Center and Corporate standards.
- Rack in/out breakers and work in switchgear as necessary.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment as per Reliability Center standards-Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Able to draw control and wiring schemes.
- Read and understand plant electrical one-lines.
- Maintain electrical drawing redlines based on management of change projects.
- Troubleshoot plant electrical and instrumentation issues when required in a timely manner.
- Able to manage I&E contractors that come onsite to support major turnarounds.
- Support additional maintenance and operational issues as requested by management.
- Ability to work call-outs, nights, weekends & holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- 2 year Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training preferred.
- 5+ years I&E experience preferred.
- Experience in instrumentation and controls.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot gas analysis equipment.
- Experience with DCS controls preferred, Bailey and/or DeltaV a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of the operation and safety aspects of the MCC/switchgear.
- Assist instrument techs with work during outages and Equipment failure.
- Able to use precision tools to obtain critical measurements.
- Able to document as-found and as-left measurements.
- Proficient in the use of a maintenance management program system.
- Knowledgeable in safe work practices, safety procedures, and other safety requirements.
- Knowledgeable in emergency procedures.
- Expertise in the proper methods of de-energizing and locking out electrical/instrumentation equipment.
- Be able to distinguish all possible sources of energy in a system.
- Expertise operating the following equipment - Forklift ,JLG.
- Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces.
- Able to work in non-conditioned environment for extended periods.
- Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work.
- Able to be on call 24/7 as business needs dictate.
