The Strainrite Companies, a leader in the manufacture of liquid filtration products, is seeking a highly motivated experienced Human Resources/Safety Coordinator, to take on a variety of HR/Safety duties. We are looking for a self-motivated professional to assist with many of the administrative duties in our HR Office. This role requires someone who is able to prioritize their work load and shift gears at a moment’s notice.

This position is responsible for the day to day operations of Human Resources & payroll functions. Responsibilities will include duties in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, workers compensation, and new hire orientation. Administration of weekly and biweekly payroll to include managing direct deposits, benefits with holding, payroll deductions, garnishments and levies. ADP Workforce now and ADP Run software is a plus.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure our HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR and payroll office administration

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects and be able to meet established goals within specific timeframes.
• Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
