Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Salary Range : 65000.00 USD - 70000.00 USD

Description:
WORKING HOURS: Normal business hours (7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm). Salaried role, so hours of work outside of that listed are at employees? discretion and/or based on business need.
HYBRID SCHEDULE: 3 office and 2 work from home days.

EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE NICE TO HAVE. EXPERIENCE MAY SERVE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with leadership, providing strategic and operational HR guidance including workforce planning, succession planning, compensation initiatives, and employee engagement.
- Work closely with management and employees to positively influence the culture, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Oversee all employee relations cases, ensuring quality and compliance assurance, and as well as mitigation of risks.
- Use professional insight to identify people related opportunities, priorities, and potential risks with managers.
- Influence and challenge management to ensure solutions are applied in line with Client policies and procedures.
- Champion talent management efforts to align manager and employee development and strengths with desired business outcomes (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, etc.).
- Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of issues and to resolve through a systematic and analytical approach.
- Assure compliance with all applicable laws and corporate policies/guidelines and identify opportunities to develop and implement new and improved practices/guidelines to achieve business goals.
- Partner with local management to identify potential business risks and support the HR Manager with developments/implementation of risk mitigation plans e.g., operations meetings.
- Implement and manage the HR initiatives within the agreed timeframe.
- Assist management in effectively identifying and developing talent succession.
- Actively support a culture of continuous improvement within the HR team; Promote feedback mechanisms for employees and managers to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes.
- Perform full employee life cycle processes and practices.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals and objectives.
- Complete exit interviews.
- Advise, review, and approve any disciplinary and discharge issues and concerns.
- Guide & advise employees through leave of absence in accordance with Client guidelines.
- Under limited direction, administer personnel activities relating to employment, wage and salary, unemployment, insurance, diversity, and personnel records.
- Under limited direction, plan and implement all company activities related to the human resource function for designated business area.
- Recommend and implement personnel guidelines and guideline changes and maintain company personnel guideline manual. Interpret company guidelines for supervisors and employees as required.
- Develop, analyze and provide recommendations to management regarding fair and equitable salaries, done through participation and review of regular external and internal equity analysis.
- Counsel managers and employees and follow through on resolving employee complaints and maintain records of disciplinary actions.
- Conduct training sessions on various HR related topics for plant employees and managers.
- Ensure company compliance to a variety of governmental and regulatory agency, and equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
- Perform special assignments, prepare statements, studies, and reports, and provide a variety of support services of a highly confidential nature for the assigned business unit leadership team.
- Travel requirement: 25% (may change with business needs).
