Position Responsibilities Summary:
A Human Resources Generalist, this position is accountable for maintaining and administering policies; manages vendor relationships, administrator of benefits programs, provides counsel to Director of Operations of company-owned stores, manages HR KPIs and scorecards, administers/trains/coordinates performance management and manages all employee relations for the company owned locations.

Manages all Human Resources functions including policies and programs, benefits, recruiting and staffing, compensation including promotions and market adjustments, benefits, training and employee relations.

Position Summary
- Counsel and advisor to Director of Operations managing all HR related programs with broad and current subject matter. Plans, directs and implements policies and procedures including handbooks and operations manuals to comply with federal, state and local laws.
- Oversees interview and selection process adhering to all applicable laws and BrightStar standards including the mining of resumes, posting on various job boards, pre-screening candidates, targeted selection interviewing, offer letter delivery, coordination with hiring manager for onboarding program and new employee orientation. Trains company store office staff on applicant tracking tools and process.
- Drives forward employee engagement and recommendations for workforce productivity including annual employee engagement survey, manages internal events team and great place to work task force, ongoing employee training and development.
- Escalates all legal external and internal investigations and/or inquiries from both federal and state agencies including unemployment, DOL and IRS to also include wage garnishments.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management or related field, or comparable work experience
2. Continuing education including SHRBP, PHR or SPHR certification a plus
3. One to three years of human resources experience required
4. Ability to work independently with little to no direction
5. Strong business acumen, attention to detail and manages ambiguity
6. Knowledge of HRIS and other systems that require process and transactional detail
7. Ability to manage upward and across the organization
