Digitech is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for an exciting, dynamic role. In this role, you will combine HR administrative skills with people & culture-building skills to bring HR process improvement, workplace culture development, and organizational growth to Digitech. This position requires a high level of independent judgment and initiative and is best suited for someone with proven experience in related fields. We encourage applications from people from a broad range of experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, the HRBP role will be based onsite Digitech’s headquarters in Chappaqua, New York, with a hybrid office model and light travel.

Since its founding in 1984, we have refined our proprietary software platform to create a cloud-based billing and business intelligence solution that monitors and automates the entire EMS revenue lifecycle. Digitech offers fully outsourced billing services that maximize collections, protect compliance, and deliver results for clients.

Human Resources Responsibilities:
  • Act as an HR liaison with Digitech’s parent company (Sarnova) with dotted-line partnership and support from the shared services HR team
  • Ensure collaborative execution of recruitment, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and diversity, equity & inclusion strategies
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Digitech’s benefits package and as resource for Digitech employees on benefits
  • Stay abreast of benefit and policy trends and best practices
  • Ensure timely communication with HR department to facilitate accurate processing of benefits, terminations, pay and structure changes, leaves of absence and other key administrative processes
  • Work with shared services to help ensure HR-related handbooks and policies are kept up to date and accessible to all employees
  • Participate in coaching, counseling, performance management and conflict resolution on employment-related matters
  • Complete exit interviews, compile exit data and insights, and share trends and recommendations with leadership
  • Work closely with leadership and other stakeholders to execute on recruitment strategies that align with company culture and goals to hire and retain talent


People & Culture Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Assist in defining and creating Digitech’s organizational culture goals
  • Partner with other departments within Digitech to contribute to corporate communications and employer (internal) branding including company intranet, newsletter, and regular company meetings
  • Evaluate and address organizational issues; develop solutions that increase organizational effectiveness and health
  • Initiate programs and events that further our organizational culture goals, such as team off-sites, all-company events, and cross-team communication strategies; promote events to drive participation and engagement
  • Collect feedback to improve these initiatives, programs, and events
  • Interface with Parent Company HR department and communicate their HR policies to Digitech employees
  • Continue spearheading company culture programs and team building events
  • Develop and manage programs and procedures around leadership effectiveness, performance reviews, manager training, 360-degree feedback, employee engagement, staff recognition and rewards, company surveys, career paths, and internships
  • Improve Digitech’s onboarding and new hire training processes, setting employees up for success in their roles across the company
  • Participate in strategic planning for the organization
  • Define and develop the People & Culture role at Digitech
  • Develop metrics for success
  • Manage Peer review process
  • Perform Exit Interviews
  • Manage communications of performance evaluations, raises, bonuses, terminations

Traits, skills, and experience required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in various Human Resources and/or Generalist roles
  • Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and knowledge of Federal and State regulations (preferably across multiple U.S. states), including FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, HIPAA, and EEO laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with all aspects of HR, including compensation, recruitment, and benefits
  • Experience in building and improving team/organizational culture and values and implementing change across an organization
  • Takes pride and pleasure in developing workplace cultures and environments where employees can thrive
  • Adept communicator with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; high EQ
  • Highly self-directed and proactive style of work, with a demonstrated track record of initiating and building programs from the ground up
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; possesses the motivation and initiative to move forward and finalize decisions individually or with stakeholder approval
  • Trustworthy, with the professional maturity and discretion to handle confidential information
