HR Assistant |Valparaiso, IN
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: 20/hour
Eligible for pay increases, promotions, & benefits(health/dental/vision, 401k w/ match, HSA, FSA, , & more) once hired-in to the client company
Shifts:
Monday – Friday | 8 am – 5 pm
Requirements & Skills:
- Degree in HR or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in HR administration or related fields is a plus
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Primary Duties Include:
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Posting Job vacancies and sourcing candidates through various channels
- Conducting initial screening interviews
- Coordinating interviews and assessments
- Preparing employment offer letters and facilitating the onboarding process
- Maintaining HR records and databases
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Administering employee benefits and leave programs
- Assisting with employee relations matters
- Coordinating training sessions and workshops
- Maintaining records and tracking employee development
- Assisting with the development of training materials and resources
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Preparing HR reports and analytics
- Assisting with audits and investigations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
