What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Enterprise Civilian Workforce Development Office in meeting their mission requirements of recruiting, retaining, and developing their civilian workforce.

More About the Role:

  • The Human Capital Functional Specialist helps implement NAVSEA Leadership Continuum programs which includes program management support for the Next Gen Leadership Program, Journey Level Leadership Program, and Commanders Executive Leadership Program

  • The specialist will also support other workforce development programs including mentoring, rotational assignments, classroom training, brown bag sessions

  • In support of workforce development programs, provides project planning, logistics support, process management support, program status briefing reporting, SharePoint content maintenance, and marketing support

  • Develop marketing materials for NAVSEA Enterprise training programs

  • Develop presentations for NAVSEA senior leadership on status and program details of workforce development initiatives

  • Develop SOPs, process maps, and draft policy documents

  • Participate in special projects as needed by the customer

  • Provide logistics support for leadership cadre participants including training, and rotational assignments

  • Maintain SharePoint content for customer Intranet pages

  • Support administrative tasks within DON cornerstone platform and assist in adopting solutions for enterprise programs.

  • Support administrative learning sessions (lunch and learn), use case construction, Job aid development.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active DOD Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, human resources or related field

  • 3 or more years of relevant working experience

  • Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines across many clients

  • Experience in writing policy or research reports for government clients

  • Experience in developing presentations

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Familiarity with SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Navy organizations, structure, and culture are desired

  • Experience working on customer site in a fast-paced environment are a plus

  • Experience supporting project planning meetings, process improvement events, or knowledge management documentation are a plus


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Cornerstone Learning Systems and/or like Learning Management Systems. This would include administrative capabilities such as developing an event, scheduling a session, inputting a roster, setting event availability, and using report capability within the tool.

  • Experience in a DOD environment.
