THE ROLE:
The Human Resources Generalist acts as a strategic partner to the Director of Human Resources in both functional and technical capacities for approximately 700 employees. This role acts as a critical cross-functional participant and advisor, and is responsible for developing an HR roadmap with a strong focus on establishing scalable workflow (onboarding, talent development and learning, compensation analysis, file auditing, advanced report writing, project management, etc.) and succession planning initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Overseeing the data collection and reporting activities at each point of the full employee lifecycle
- Performing all on-boarding and off-boarding of employees in various HR systems
- Assuring HRIS System has updated headcount budgets based on current state and future strategy
- Analyzing market data sets, position profiling characteristics, and compensation surveys to identify trends and to make appropriate earning recommendations
- Leading employee development and retention programs (continuing education, leadership and skills training, company culture initiatives, etc.)
- Identifying and recommending reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics
- Change management and succession planning
- Daily updating and auditing of personnel files
- System compliance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college with focused studies in information systems, business, psychology, or human resources preferred
- 3+ years of HR Generalist and employee relations experience
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
HIGHLY BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working for a company with 500+ employees
- Any of the following certifications: SHRM, SPHR, PHR, IPMA-CP, IPMA-CS
- Familiarity with an LMS
