Purpose:

This position is responsible for the HRIS Administration of the payroll system utilized by the organization. This position will support and maintain the HRIS application and modules and ensure it is carried out in an efficient and effective manner. This position will work with various levels of management to assist in the meeting of the goals and objectives of the HR organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS within the organization
  • Responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to all HRIS users
  • Manages permissions, access, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
  • Collaborates with the HR Team and appropriate management to identify system improvements and enhancements
  • Creates and compiles data reports, summaries and analysis as needed
  • Maintains and updates various aspects of the HRIS, including but not limited to job titles/codes, pay scales, documents/information in the Recruitment module, pay matrices, etc.
  • Serve as the Lead Trainer for newly hired or promoted HR personnel
  • Create, update, and maintain the procedures, guidelines, and documents housed in the SharePoint HRIS Help Portal
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
  • Serve as a representative and liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors for HRIS design and implementation/upgrade projects
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
  • Assist with and become the go-to person for the Performance Management System
  • Train new hires and employees as needed on the Performance Management System
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Management or a relevant field of study or a combination of education and experience
  • 3 years’ experience as an HRIS Administrator with various payroll products
  • Experience with Performance Management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced level in Microsoft office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience with UKG – Core, Dimensions and Workforce Management
  • Experience with SABA – Performance Management System
  • A Certification in HR – PHR, SPHR

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel required for training purposes and meetings
