About YOU: Are you a purpose-driven professional, looking to expand your skills in the HR field while making a positive impact in the lives of youth from hard places in the Greater Cincinnati community? Do you have exceptional people skills and enjoy building relationships with your colleagues and customers? Are you familiar with recruitment best practices and have experience with various HR policies and systems? If so, then you might be the perfect fit for the HR Specialist role at Found Village!

At Found Village we create an intentional and impactful community that affects real change in the lives of the youth we serve. We commit to serving young people until at least the age of 25. Who You Are:

• You have a bachelor’s degree
• You have 1-3 years of HR experience and knowledge of recruitment best practices
• You have experience with ATS and HRIS systems
• You have excellent intrapersonal and communication skills
• You have strong written and verbal skills
• You have an ethical mindset
• You are passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential
• You don’t take yourself too seriously and lead with humility
• You’re highly skilled at wearing multiple hats, diving in where needed, and being strategic in ensuring the big picture goals are met
• SHRM/PHR Certification is a plus!

What You’ll Do & Learn:

• Manage the recruiting lifecycle and oversee the hiring process
• Facilitate new employee onboarding
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures
• Assist in troubleshooting employee issues
• Help support all general HR functions as needed within a small, growing non-profit
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
