Key Responsibilities


Summary
:

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide assistance to the HR team in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, engagement and retention, off-boarding, compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance. This is an expanding role with growth potential and is a great opportunity for those looking to further develop their HR career.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Five Star HR Team with day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing exemplary service and leading our teams to the best resources to ensure a positive experience and effective solutions
  • Partner with Recruiting to schedule interviews and check references and Learning and Development to support onboarding
  • Assist in managing retention programs for Corporate and all communities
  • Run all engagement reports after annual and pulse surveys are launched
  • Participate in the Corporate Culture Committee which plans all office events, volunteer programs and Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
  • Coordinate with EAP to advertise monthly communication and events
  • Manage Tuition Reimbursement program
  • Manage employee records, including HRIS updates and physical employee files
  • Provide back-up coverage for receptionist
  • Manage the Corporate Governance Line and coordinates cases with Regional HR Teams
  • Manage invoices and expenses for the HR Team
  • Assist in coordinating off-boarding of Corporate team members
  • All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, HR Management, or a related field.
  • Passion for connecting with people and building positive relationships
  • 1-4 years of exposure to Human Resource functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent writing, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to change
