Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth, Cape Cod’s premier senior living community, is seeking a responsible and dependable person to join our team as a Houseperson.

The Houseperson will perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the public spaces around Thirwood Place. We are home to a vibrant group of senior residents who enjoy living in a first-class community.

Houseperson responsibilities include:

- Cleaning restrooms and halls, setting meeting spaces, garbage removal and vacuuming.

- Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.

- Cleaning hallways, common areas, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

- Emptying wastebaskets and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas.

- Replenishing supplies and keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.

- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and carpet extractor. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing floors as necessary.

- Dust window blinds and remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool area.
