The Opportunity: We are looking for Housekeepers to join us for the upcoming summer season: If you are a service-minded individual looking to provide an outstanding experience to our members, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- Per Club standards, manage the cleanliness of most areas of the facility including, public bathrooms, Grille Room (restaurant), ballroom, locker rooms, guest rooms or suites which includes making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture, and cleaning bathrooms
- Empty all trash containers and replace with fresh liners
- Restock usable items in guest rooms or suites, i.e., soap, towels, paper items, and food amenities
- Ensure removal and appropriate disposition of guest room trays, dinner, glass and silverware
- Clean and vacuum entries, and hallways
- Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized
- Notify Club House Manager promptly of any special guestroom or suite issues including reporting of any maintenance needs
- Promptly handles guest complaints or requests and refers to supervisor if unable to handle
- Manager would be responsible for the recruiting and training of housekeeping staff
Hours are based on business needs and include weekends, weekdays, and holidays
Back ground check will be performed upon hire.
Job Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have at a minimum two years of experience as a manager
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Works well independently or as part of a team
- Can manage employees appropriately
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
- A positive attitude
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Club
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
During the majority of the shift, must be able to:
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
