As part of the Housekeeping staff with CGS you will be responsible for housekeeping and janitorial tasks on a large campus of one of our state customers. This position adheres to state and federal laws and institution policy. Under supervision and in accordance with established schedules, procedures and safety standards, performs housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain the facility buildings in an orderly, safe, sanitary and attractive condition.

REPRESENTATIVE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and send dirty linens and towels to laundry
• Load soiled articles into washing machine, load chemicals, set controls, remove and transfer articles to dryer, set controls, and remove articles when dry
• Operate steam press to iron articles and fold articles for delivery
• Sort, count, load, and deliver finished items to user
• May mend damaged articles by machine or by hand sewing

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience required.
