Job description

Education Alternatives is an alternative school system with 8 locations across Northeast Ohio. We provide transportation services for each location and manage our fleet of vans through our Cluch Automotive shop located in Brook Park OH. We are seeking a level C-technician to assist in routine maintenance and other duties to keep our vans running smoothly throughout the school year. This position is a full-time position, paid hourly with benefits, retirement options, and paid-time off.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Effective written communication skills that allow for every opportunity to sell hours
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and flow-charts used to diagnose truck systems

Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Has a general knowledge of mechanical systems; can perform Preventive Maintenance and other general repairs with little to no supervision
• Follows an assigned training path as set by the supervisor, completes self-training associated with this training path at a rate that is outlined within the training path
• Strives to do the work assigned right the first time while completing tasks in a timely manner
• Works harmoniously with management, coworkers, and customers to ensure that the customer receives a best-in-class repair experience
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
