JOB SUMMARY

The Hotel Houseperson will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel's public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and other public spaces. In addition, the Houseperson will be responsible for assisting the housekeeping staff with any necessary tasks to ensure guest rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and public areas
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Prepare and deliver guest requests such as extra towels or pillows
• Assist with guest luggage and transportation needs
• Monitor and report any damages or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
• Follow safety and security procedures, including reporting any suspicious activity or hazards
• Attend to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
• Assist with laundry and linen duties as needed
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience
• Participate in training and development programs to improve job performance
• Uphold the hotel's standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
