Overview:

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the facility. Works closely with the department Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Maintenance Coordinators, Milltechs, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the department production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Rotating shift work including nights and weekends
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Good communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
- React to emergency breakdowns
Safety Oriented- At least 4 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, grease systems, gearing, gear/shaft alignment, rigging, bearings, couplings, and precision measuring instruments
- Fabrication skills that include torching, welding, and blueprint reading
- Machining experience preferred
- Proficiency in comprehending hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams preferred
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and AutoCad (preferred)
