Camp Verde Restaurant in Camp Verde, Texas, is a beautiful restaurant known for its rich history and charming location in the Texas Hill Country. Our team enjoys a motivating, friendly and energetic environment. We are currently seeking a part-time Host to join our team. Candidates should be able to foster a positive work environment, take initiative and possess a willingness to learn. EOE

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests entering and leaving the restaurant as part of their positive dining experience
• Escort guests to their table and provide a menu to each guest
• Answer guest questions accurately and politely about the restaurant, menu and store history
• Take guest information and accurately quote the wait time if seating is not immediately available
• Answer the phone and record reservations
• Control server section rotation to ensure excellent service and uniform distribution of seated guests among servers
• Track occupied, clean and soiled tables
• Assist bussing tables, as necessary
• Communicate guest concerns to the manager
• Perform opening, closing and other duties as directed
• Maintain a clean and organized podium and wait area
• Support other team members, as needed
• Protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal employment laws

Requirements

• Previous hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to reliable attendance
• Capacity to take directions and work with others
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Can safely lift 25 lbs. while maneuvering throughout the work area
• Available to work a variety of hours including holidays and weekends
