DESPERATELY NEEDED
Hospitality Aide Responsibilities:

Making Beds -
Passing Ice and Water -
Answering Call Lights and Relaying Requests to Nursing Staff (as long as the Hospitality Aide does not attempt to do any "hands-on" care for the resident which would include, but not limited to, toileting, transfers, bathing, and feeding.) -
Passing Food Trays Pushing Residents in Wheelchairs as long as the resident's care plan does not have any special provisions for this that would require a Certified or Licensed Direct Care staff member. -
Straightening up rooms, wiping off bedside tables, assisting residents with denture care. -
Recording meal intakes in ADL Flow Sheets. -
Sitting with residents, providing meaningful activities and conversation. Assisting with supervising residents who are at risk for falls. -
Calling for help if a resident appears to be in a dangerous situation, i.e. appears to be about to fall, go out a door, etc. and calmly talking to the resident, encouraging them to be safe until help arrives. -
Making rounds up and down hallways, check on residents frequently to ensure they are safe.
