Job description
Insight Global's largest client in the home security space is seeking a customer service-oriented technician to join their team in the Bowie, MD area. This person will be responsible for the installation and/or service of security equipment in homes and small businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, proficiency with technology, and comfort climbing ladders, entering crawl spaces, and handling hand tools. More details below...
Duration: Training (3-4 weeks) + 6 month contract-to-hire (Permanent employment opportunity after 6 months)
Location: Office in Bowie, MD
Logistics:
- Contractors will utilize their personal vehicle during the training and contract periods. Vehicle must be able to hold ladder, boxes of inventory, and tools. Company vehicle offered after contract period
- Contractors will utilize their personal tools during the contract period. Tools will be provided after contract period.
- Opportunity to make commission on small sales while on site to help cover gas/mileage.
- Training: M-F 8-4 Contract period: Tues-Sat 8-4:30 - Overtime is likely and paid x1.5.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
