High School Biology/Chemistry TeacherThe Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City.
We are seeking an outstanding high school science teacher with experience teaching multiple levels of biology and/or chemistry as well as senior electives.
The ideal candidate is capable of:
Creating dynamic lessons
Engaging students in scientific discovery through hands-on, inquiry-based experiments
Utilizing cutting-edge technology
Developing students’ twenty-first-century skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, use of technology, and written and oral presentation skills
A master’s degree in science and/or secondary science education is preferred.
