Tailored Tutoring LLC is a small, Black and woman-owned business in Southern New Jersey. We are celebrating over 20 years of student-centric education, and our main mission is to provide quality and affordable tutoring to our communities. Currently, we teach a range of subjects, including but not limited to phonics, writing, mathematics, and standardized test preparation. We are searching for an enthusiastic tutor who can provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to high school students in math. A passion for teaching is a must since you will be in contact with clients with various backgrounds and educational levels. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you are patient and able to explain concepts clearly. Candidates must have a familiarity with at least one high school mathematics subject (Algebra I or II, Geometry, Trig, Pre-Calc, or Calc).

Responsibilities:

• Teach math concepts at an agreed level of education and proficiency.
• Ensure the lesson is continuously engaging and motivating for the student.
• Maintain a weekly schedule and provide brief progress reports to students' guardians or parents.
• Write brief progress reports on students' progress and objectives achieved at the end of every session.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
