About us

Servaes Enterprises is a small business in Atchison, KS. We supply construction materials
(aggregate) through northeast kansas and northwestern missouri from our Atchison ks location. Our family started in business in 1974 and have produced aggregate through surface and underground locations for nearly 50 years.

Will serve as a independant mechanic that works primarily in our underground mine location, but also will work out of our shop and other locations as neccesarry to preform repairs and/or maintenance. Person will work independantly or with supervisor to maintain and repair mobil heavy equipment. Examples of job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting
• Preventative Maintenance
• Heavy lifting
• Keeping a good work ethic
• Ability to perform quality work
• Weld (Mig and Stick) and use a cutting torch
• Perform basic tasks without supervision or unecessary assistance
• Assist other personel on other more advanced repairs

Work is performed in underground mine enviroment or workshop, so there is exposure to dust, noise, heat, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.95 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Atchison, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
