The Finance Business Partner, US Vaccines is responsible for providing financial and business expertise to the US Vaccines organization. The position partners with the NA Head of Vaccines and the NA Vaccines LT to deliver the business priorities and transformation.
About this Role:
Drive and pilot the business and financial performance for the Vaccines GBU in the US
Act as a trusted partner engaged in providing insightful and constructive input into decision making at Leadership Team level
Drive the transformation agenda towards the “One Finance” by role modelling the Play to Win behaviors
Champion cashflow optimization initiatives from integrated forecasting to trade and working capital management
Play a leading role in Business Development projects support from evaluation to closing
Contribute to the right level of Internal Control in coordination with NA Finance
Key Features:
Direct management of 2 staff + support from extended Finance
Report to NA CFO with multiple engagement lines with Vaccines BU and Vaccines Finance
Key Responsibilities:
Support Business Leaders in their decision-making process based on sound judgment, finance expertise and business acumen
Transform financial and non-financial, multi-source, real-time, internal & external data into accurate business modelling that enables target setting and performance monitoring
Drive cash flow optimization initiatives from integrated forecasting to trade and working capital management
Focus on Financial Performance
Provide to the leadership team cost efficient and relevant financial data and key metrics, by fully leveraging the Finance Operations and COEs groups
Drive the Monthly Performance Reviews: monitor business performance vs. set targets and external benchmarks, defined KPIs, gaps vs. plan – supported by the Finance Business Partners
Lead the reconciliation forum to align IBPs between Commercial Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Affaires
Lead budget & forecasts, Rolling Forecasts, and Risks & Opportunities
Drive the reviews with GBU teams, challenge Business assumptions, identify risks and opportunities and ensure strategic alignment between Commercial Business, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and Financial Operations leveraging Plai and Integrated Business Planning when relevant
Role model the Play to Win behaviors
Be a prominent member of the NA Finance LT and Regional Finance Council to promote Inclusion and Diversity, career progression and Strategic Workforce planning for the Extended Finance in North America
Accountable for the control environment (assessing risks and performing controls) over their local areas of responsibility and fully aware of internal control requirements (“guardian of the rules”), with the capability to raise concerns to Internal Control and find solutions
Play a leading role in Business Development projects support from evaluation to closing
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
MBA degree is strongly preferred.
CPA certification is preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of combined professional experience within finance and/or accounting is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.
Knowledge of US Gross to Net and direct management experience of commercial P&L is strongly desired.
Demonstrated experience in business transformation is highly preferred.
Digital transformation experience is preferred.
Multi-Channel engagement experience is preferred.
This position may require up to 15% overall business travel.
