Job description

The Executive Housekeeper directs and controls housekeeping related operations. An executive housekeeper, co-ordinates between housekeeping team members to inspect assigned areas to ensure brand standards are met. An executive housekeeper manages many priorities and demands and is able to solve problems, support team, as well as perform the duties of a housekeeper by leading by example when required.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and/or implement operating procedures and standards
• Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping team members and house attendants
• Coordinate inspection or inspect assigned areas to ensure standards are met
• Must have people skills. Experience with hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating performance also desired
• Budget and P&L knowledge
• Administrative tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Hospitality degree is an asset
• Professional attitude
• Previous experience working in housekeeping is required
• Previous supervisor or manager experience is required
• Basic accounting skills
• Great guest service skills
• Purchasing and inventory skills is an asset

Job Type: Full-time
