A WorkForce Software Hardware Specialist is responsible for successful customer delivery of WorkForce data collection hardware devices, such as time clocks. The Hardware Specialist works across multiple departments involved in hardware deployment including Sales, Support and Development teams.

Responsibilities

• Processes client requests for hardware repair or replacement
• Ensure timely shipping and receiving of packages
• Identify potential issues with data collection hardware, troubleshoot, and repair when necessary.
• Create and receive repair purchase orders and provide information for customer billing.
• Maintain and reconcile hardware inventory with NetSuite inventory.
• Creates and updates requirements documentation, procedures, and knowledge base content
• Testing client badges and documenting results
• Configure WorkForce Terminals, which includes setup functions, screen layouts, workflows and data integrations, according to detailed customer specifications
• Acts as a team player on internal and customer engagements
• Assists more experienced consultants with project delivery activities based upon learned technologies
• Attend training courses and undertake self-learning as required to further develop the skills and knowledge necessary for continued success
  

Requirements

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Experience with business applications, such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.

• Critical attention to detail.

• Works well individually and as a team member and collaborates with others to achieve objectives

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Learns to use professional concepts and to apply company policies and procedures to deliver WFS solutions to clients
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
• Possesses basic problem-solving skills and repairing and upgrading hardware components
• Demonstrates technical aptitude to learn quickly and adapts to new circumstances
• Ability to primarily work in the Livonia, MI office

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with UPS WorldShip, Netsuite, and Salesforce are added advantages
