A YMCA Gymnastics Team Coach represents the YMCA as a team leader in gymnastics. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, educational and enjoyable gymnastics class to participants of a variety of ages. Gymnastics Team Coach will be based on USA-Gymnastics Xcel and JO program. Gymnastics Instruction will be based on the YUSA-Gymnastics Progressive program.

Primary job will be working with the Level 3-5 and Xcel gymnasts building skills, drills and conditioning to improve all levels of gymnastics.

• Plan structured competitive team activities to stimulate the growth and development of participants utilizing YMCA values and the character development initiative
• Effectively communicate between staff, parents and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings and special functions as assigned by supervisor including the annual in-service day, held on Veterans Day.
• Maintains a safe environment; responsible for the supervision of their students within the class structure.
• May be asked to teach instructional preschool and school age gymnastics classes.

Pay Range: $14 - $18/hr
