Job Summary
The purpose and role of the Photo Editor position is to oversee all aspects/entities associated with photography in relation to Griffon Media. This includes leading a staff of photographers shooting photos for the Griffon News website, app and social media pages. This also includes any special editions of the publication. This position will start 8-28-23.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have enrolled and received a satisfactory grade in JOU 311: Griffon Media.
- Must have advanced knowledge of how to use the Adobe CC suite for editing and production of original content. This includes, but is not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Must be self-disciplined with skills in organization, time management and leadership.
Physical Demands
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Additional Demands
- This position requires ability to sit for several hours in a chair in front of a computer screen.
- There may be lifting involved. This includes key moments like hauling photography equipment to various locations to shoot photos for Griffon Media.
