We are looking to hire Greenhouse Cultivation Technicians to help grow our expanding business.
We are looking for qualified applicants that are hungry to learn, have a strong work ethic, and have a team player mentality to match. Cultivation and agriculture experience are preferred, but not needed.

Job Title: Greenhouse Cultivation Technician

Position: Hourly

Location: Kingman, AZ

Salary: $16/hour + depending on experience

Reports to: Greenhouse Supervisors

Hours: 40+ hours per week, overtime available. Multiple shifts are available.

The Greenhouse Cultivation Technician will play an important role in the overall running of day-to- day operations here at the facility. Hired team members will be responsible for providing care and support in plant cultivation, abiding by policies, and helping maintain a safe work environment.

Daily you will be responsible for the facility's general upkeep and ongoing operation, specifically working inside our greenhouses to take care of all our plants.

To best succeed, the greenhouse technician should be the type of person who is able to follow directions and work in a quick and efficient manner. This will be a physically demanding job and will include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching. As with all positions, clear communication, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with a desire to go above and beyond the call of duty are important traits to have.

Expanded Job Description (Personnel Duties & Responsibilities):

• Your primary responsibility will be to take care of all our plants inside the greenhouse, which will include pruning, defoliating, moving, transplanting, and otherwise maintaining the overall health of plants. Knowledge of plants is a plus, but not required
• Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery; disposal of waste according to strict compliance guidelines.
• Secondary responsibilities as assigned by supervisors and management, but may include general facility cleaning, harvesting, and post-harvest duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
• Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal and written directives, training information, and policies when performing duties
• Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested
• Must be comfortable working in different ranges of temperatures and humidity, including high humidity and hot temperatures during the summer months, and maintain a healthy hydration level throughout the day

In addition to the above general, and expanded, job descriptions, this position might include other possible work depending on the needs of the facility, considering the current workload. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 21 years of age, must possess a valid drives license or state ID card and is authorized to work in the U.S. Additional availability to work holidays and overtime is a plus.

Applicants with prior experience in greenhouse work, cultivation, carpentry, or construction, knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems, knowledge of environmental control systems, or other applicable skills are all a plus.

In addition to the above requirements, one must be able to sit or stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods of time, work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, with high, sustained energy, and work for long periods doing physical labor in both a warehouse and greenhouse setting. In addition, all candidates must pass a state-mandated (AZDHS) background check, including a fingerprinting background check.
