Texoma Medical Center, a 333-bed acute care facility located one hour north of Dallas in Denison, TX, is recruiting a Physician Assistant for a surgical position.This is an employed position with two General Surgeons working as a First Assist in the OR and help with rounding. The position would also include seeing patients in the clinic two to three days a week dependent upon the volume either in the clinic or hospital. There would be an average of 10-12 patients on the clinic days, and would primarily be helping out with bariatric patients.
Ideally, we would prefer candidates with a background in general surgery; however, this is not a requirement as the surgeons would train the right candidate to meet the needs of our patients and the clinic as a whole.
Compensation includes a competitive salary, benefits and sign on bonus.
