SEEKING GENERAL MANAGER FOR VICTORY RESTAURANT & LOUNGE

Our restaurant group is expanding to Houston! Victory Restaurant & Lounge is looking for a reliable, experienced General Manager who will help us continue to elevate our customer service. Our General Manager must be prepared to be the captain of the team – you must understand what it takes to run a strong business, hire and train great people, and help to drive our company forward.

The Restaurant & Lounge is a full-service restaurant with a bar and sit-down, 5-star dining.

What will you do?

As the General Manager your guests and your team will rely on you to create a positive work environment and dining experience. As the leader your guidance will be crucial to the development, safety, and happiness of your team. We believe that our people are our most valuable asset and it will be up to you to coach, mentor, and care for your people.

Top 5 Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  • Hire, train & coach the team
  • Utilize our systems to run a great restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
  • Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory
  • Work with Ownership to set and meet restaurant and lounge goals for service, operations and financial results

What we’re looking for:

  • A great communicator who keeps our Owners in-the-know
  • A friendly, enthusiastic attitude
  • Someone who knows the ins-and-outs of running a business (food safety, sales-forecasting, staffing, etc.)
  • Someone who has experience monitoring front of house stock and placing orders with external vendors
  • Someone who can oversee the preparation of safe and delicious food and maintain a clean, neat and organized restaurant
  • EXPERIENCE IN A LOUNGE/NIGHT CLUB ENVIRONMENT IN ADDITION TO RESTAURANTS IS PREFERRED
  • Someone that loves to develop and lead a team
  • The ability to deliver a great guest experience
  • A team player who can jump in where needed
  • Previous full-service restaurant experience is a MUST
  • Prior experience using SpotOn POS systems is a major plus
  • Must be available to work late nights and weekends

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
