Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Gardener and Laborer to be responsible for property management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This position requires a combination of physical labor and horticultural knowledge (or willingness to learn).

This is a seasonal position expected to last through August with some hours possible after that.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general garden maintenance such as pruning, planting, watering, and weeding
• Operate and maintain various gardening tools and equipment
• Assist with landscape construction projects, including hardscaping and softscaping
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or related field
• Knowledge of various plants, flowers, and trees and their care requirements
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Must pass background check

Working Conditions

• We prefer this to be a part-time position, but we're open to full-time hours if desired by the selected candidate.
• Work hours are flexible from 8a through 6p during Monday through Friday.
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions is required.
• The job requires physical exertion and lifting of heavy objects.
• Entire work location is smoke and drug-free
