Job Title: Game Day Camera Operator

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, a minor league baseball team based in Binghamton, New York, is seeking a Game Day Camera Operator to join its game day operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the cameras during home games, capturing high-quality footage of the action on the field and producing compelling content for various media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Operate game day cameras to capture live action on the field, including game highlights, player profiles, and fan interactions
• Collaborate with the production team to produce high-quality content for social media, website, and other media platforms
• Manage and maintain camera equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow game day production schedule and provide support for other game day operations as needed
• Communicate with other game day staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of content
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Game Day Operations

Requirements:

• Prior experience in video production or camera operation preferred
• Familiarity with sports, particularly baseball, and the ability to follow the action on the field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
