Position Summary: The Laundry Aide is responsible for completing general laundry service duties and distribution of clean linens to nursing units.
Job Duties:
Collect soiled laundry and linens from throughout the facility.- Sort laundry and linens.
- Wash, dry and fold laundry and linens.
- Adhere to established cleaning and infection control procedures.
- Distribute clean laundry and linens to nursing units.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean.
Minimum of High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.- Able to understand and follow directions.
- Good interpersonal skills.
