We are a skilled nursing facility looking for dynamic associates to join our Social Services team and provide our guests with a care experience that will change their lives! We are looking for a full time Housekeeper.
This position requires the following qualifications, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning and disinfecting technique.
- Able to communicate clearly with residents, staff and visitors
- Cleans floors: dry mop, wet mop, sweeps, waxes, buffs, disinfects where and when necessary. Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
- Cleans carpeting and rugs: vacuums, shampoos carpeting and rugs. Has small rugs laundered.
- Cleans bathrooms (patient, private, public): cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls as directed. Washes windows and mirrors. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Cleans stairways, elevators, entrances, exits: cleans as directed above for floors and walls.
- Reports observations concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctioning to Supervisor.
- Complies with all related policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual.
