We are seeking an optimistic, warm-hearted caregiver to join our small team supporting our home-based adult daughter recovering from a severe brain injury. We have a full-time opening, though can also consider candidates interested in part-time work.

Our shifts run 7-130p and 130-8p daily, and there are also occasional overnights. Incoming caregivers complete a training period at the $20/hr starting rate, and advance to higher rates after completing training objectives (roughly 30-40 days into the job).

This will be a terrific fit for caregivers who are positive thinkers with active lifestyles. Our caregiving team helps our special needs adult daughter recognize the recurring patterns within each day. Shifts generally involve fitness and hiking around various trails near where we live in Colorado Springs, along with various community outings and supported volunteer activities.

Across all shifts, team members' responsibilities include:

• Following Treatment Plans and daily procedures with an easy-to-follow checklist
• Offering encouraging assistance with ADLs
• Demonstrating socially appropriate behavior & conversation around the community
• Sharing warm companionship with an upbeat attitude
• Arriving to work promptly and reliably completing shifts as scheduled, while
• Documenting the daily activities and noted behaviors
• And maintaining a functional vehicle to drive between our home and community destinations
