Job description

We are adding a coffee Barista to our coffee shop team. This is a long term, full-time career position. Training will be provided.

We need someone who is great with people, willing to learn, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and loves coffee. Being a Barista requires training on the science behind coffee and how to pull the best flavors out of each cup you make. The person will be required to pull espresso shots, mix coffee drinks, and make latte art. Barista's are required to taste espresso and must learn what a good espresso shot tastes like.

Excellent customer service is critical for a barista. The person must have a great, outgoing personality, love to work with the public. and have a positive attitude.

Previous barista experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Job will also require person to run the register, make other drinks for customers, some food prep, dishes, cleaning, opening and closing the shop, and any other necessary tasks needed. Person MUST be available to work weekends and evenings.

Person must have good, reliable transportation, be honest and trustworthy, and be a team player. We will be hiring 1 full-time or 2 part-time people for this position. This is a year-round job.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
