Summary of Position
The GCSS-Army Equipment Record and Parts Specialist Instructor is a full-time, wage determination position directly responsible to the Director, Military Skills Enhancement Program whose overall duties and responsibilities are to teach, update and maintain the ERPS Course and select components of GCSS-Army at Fort Hood Troop School and at other Army installations. Conduct special courses or briefings as required by government contract.
Minimum Required Education
Two years college from a US regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Minimum Required Experience
Five years military service with a minimum of two years’ experience in grade of Senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer. Must have experience with Class IX supplies and warehouse knowledge and experience using the GCSS-Army software for creating and maintaining equipment records and service schedules.
At least one year experience as an instructor within the past 10 years.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows operating systems.
Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat/Reader and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have understanding of computer and printer networking to include knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques.
Must be able to pass the GCSS-Army and instructor certification with at least one year experience working with or instructing the system.
Must have experience working in G-Army with an in depth knowledge of full spectrum operations, regulatory requirements and procedures, which includes all facets of property and equipment maintenance.
Must be able to pass a background investigation or National Agency Check (NAC) in order to fulfill contractual obligations
Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat/Reader and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
