We are searching for responsible, determined Front Office Patient Care Specialists to join our supported dental offices. The Front Office Patient Care Specialist will handle various administrative tasks in our front office area and plays an important role in communicating effectively with patients and maintaining an organized administrative schedule. Compensation will be based on experience.
Hours: Must have availability
Monday – Friday 7:30 – 5:00
Saturday 7:30 - 1:00

The Front Office Patient Care Specialist will maintain and organize all administrative functions in the front office, including reception tasks – receiving and distributing office mail and email, answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly, communicating patients’ arrival promptly, and managing administrative records. The Front Office Patient Care Specialist will also work with administrative scheduling, including maintaining electronic records, documenting patient dental treatments and transactions, following office procedures for patient referrals and scheduling of office appointments. Other duties include ordering office and administrative supplies.
The Front Office Patient Care Specialist communicates with insurance companies, insured patients, and other team members in the dental office to ensure correct insurance information is provided and verified in a timely manner. This position is responsible for verifying insured patients’ information is current, and ensuring the details of dental benefits are properly entered into practice management software in order to help provide the patient with accurate financial estimates for their treatment plan.
Requirements:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and supported dental office team members
- Great administrative organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
- Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Dental experience a plus
Education:
Associates degree preferred, but not required
